Sagaing * Monywa * Pakokku * Bagan Day 1: morning depart Mandalay by car for Monywa and on the way visit Sagaing Hill; Mohnyin Than Buddhe Pagoda where there are over half a million seated Buddha Images and Bodi-Ta-Htaung Pagoda which means 1,000 Bo trees - nowadays there are many more trees; also see the longest reclining Buddha Image in Myanmar. Arrive Monywa in time for lunch and in the afternoon visit Kyaukka Shwe Gu Ni Pagoda and lacquerware workshops and also Htan Kauk Waterfall. Overnight Monywa Day 2: morning drive to Pakokku via Yesagyo and on the way visit Phowindaung Hill caves. After arriving Pakokku visit the Thehoshin Pagoda to see the best Pagoda wood carvings in Myanmar. Overnight Pakokku Day 3: morning visit Pakokku market and see the making of the famous Myanmar lacquerware flip-flops, cotton blankets, cheroots and Thanaka.
