Day 1: arrive Yangon in morning and transfer to hotel; afternoon visits include the Gems Museum,  the Myanmar Gallery of Contemporary Arts and the Shwedagon Pagoda. In the evening dinner with magnificent cultural show at Karaweik floating restaurant on Kandawgyi Lake

Day 2: tour of Yangon visiting the Bo-Ka-Lay Market, the famous Scotts Market and the National Museum. Also visit the White Elephants at Min-Da-Ma hill, and Kyauk-Taw-Gyi Pagoda which houses the largest marble Buddha Image in Myanmar. In the late afternoon visit the Botataung Paya on the Yangon River

Day 3: Fly to Mandalay in morning and visit the Maha Muni Pagoda; stone carving and tapestry workshops, a silk weaving factory in Amarapura and the magnificent Pagodas on Sagaing Hill. Overnight Mandalay

Day 4: take a short boat ride to Innwa ("Ava") and then a buggy to visit this old Capital.  In the afternoon visit the Mandalay Palace, the World's biggest book and Hman Kyaung ("Glass Hall Monastery"). Evening see the sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight Mandalay

Day 5: drive through the beautiful dry zone to Bagan via U Bein bridge, the longest teakwood bridge in the world. Short afternoon tour of Bagan. Overnight Bagan

Day 6: all day tour of Bagan including visits to Nyaung-U market; Shwezigon Paya which was started by King Anawrahta and completed by King Kyansittha; Kyansittha Umin Paya built into a cliff face; Gubyaukgyi Paya in Wetgyi Inn Village built in the 13th century and with fine stuccowork on the exterior walls; Htilominlo temple from 12th century and Upali Thein Ordination Hall named after a famous Monk called Upali. Afternoon visit the Bagan Museum; Gawdawpalin Pahto one of the largest of Bagan's Temples; Ananda Patho with four 9.5 meter Buddha Images and four 10.6 meter high teakwood gates; lacquerware workshops; and see the sunset from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Paya which was the first Stupa built in Myanmar. Overnight Bagan

Day 7: morning depart Bagan for drive to Pyay (Prome) via Mount Popa nature reserve and Magwe: on the way visit the Shwemyetman Paya. Overnight Pyay

Day 8: visit Sri Ksetra the ancient city of the Pyu peoples dating back to at least the 5th century AD and take a trip on Ayeyawady River to see the Buddha Images carved into the river bank. Overnight Pyay

Day 9: early morning depart Pyay and drive through the beautiful Rakhine Yoma (mountain range) to Ngapali Beach. Overnight Ngapali after indulging in delicious fresh seafood

Day 10 to Day ???: after relaxing on the beach for as many days as you want take a 45 minute flight back to Yangon for international departures
