Day 1: arrive Yangon in morning and transfer to hotel; all day tour of Yangon including the Gems Museum, the White Elephants at Min-Da-Ma hill, Kyauk-Taw-Gyi Pagoda which houses the largest marble Buddha Image in Myanmar, the Myanmar Gallery of Contemporary Arts and the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. In the evening dinner with magnificent cultural show at Karaweik floating restaurant on Kandawgyi Lake. Overnight Yangon

Day 2: depart for Bagan in morning and upon arrival visit Nyaung Oo market and Phua Saw village to see typical village life; continue to tour the Bagan Pagodas ~ Bagan can be called one of the Wonders of the World having over 2,000 Pagodas dating back to the eleventh century. Overnight Bagan

Day 3: all day Bagan relaxing and  sightseeing including a visit to the impressive Bagan Museum and Min Nan Thu village. Visit the famous lacquerware village and see the craftspeople at work. Optional trip with Balloons Over Bagan ~ see the magnificent Pagodas from the air!! Overnight Bagan

Day 4: morning visit Buphaya Stupa overlooking the Ayeyawady River, said to be the oldest in Bagan but which was completely destroyed in the 1975 earthquake and subsequently rebuilt; drive through the beautiful dry zone to Mandalay by Mingyan and en-route see U Bein bridge, the longest teakwood bridge in the world and the Snake Pagoda. Overnight Mandalay

Day 5: all day Mandalay and district: morning visit the Maha Muni Pagoda; stone carving, wood carving and tapestry workshops, a silk weaving factory in Amarapura and Sagaing Hill. In the afternoon take a short boat ride to Innwa ("Ava") and then a buggy to visit this old Capital. Overnight Mandalay

Day 6: morning take a leisurely boat ride across the Ayeyawady to Mingun and see the world's largest ringing bell cast in 1808, the massive unfinished Mingun Paya and the wonderful Mingun Buddhist Home for the Aged founded in 1915; then on to the Mya Thein Dan Zedi before returning to Mandalay. In the afternoon visit the Mandalay Palace, the World's biggest book and Hman Kyaung ("Glass Hall Monastery"). In the evening see the magnificent sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight Mandalay.

Day 7: morning depart to Heho for Kalaw. Afternoon trekking around Kalaw. Overnight Kalaw

Day 8: all day trekking around Kalaw visiting the Hill Tribes and overnight in local village.

Day 9: all day trekking around Kalaw and Pindaya visiting Hill Tribes and overnight in Pindaya hotel.

Day 10: trekking to Inle Lake and check into hotel on the lake. In the afternoon take a boat-ride on Inle Lake and visit Ywama Viilage, silversmiths, goldsmiths, weaving workshops and Phaung Daw U Kyaung, the holiest religious site in the Southern Shan State. Overnight Inle Lake

Day 11: morning visit Nam Pan Market, In Paw Khone Village the floating gardens and the famous Nga Phe Kyaung or "Jumping Cat" Monastery. Afternoon relax on Lake. Overnight Inle Lake

Day 12: morning depart Inle Lake for flight to Yangon. Afternoon tour of Yangon visiting the famous Scotts Market and the National Museum. Overnight Yangon

Day 13: free and easy Yangon; international departures
