Day 1: arrive Yangon in evening and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight Yangon. Day 2: tour of Yangon including the National Museum, Scotts Market (Bogyoke Market) and the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. In the evening dinner with magnificent cultural show at Karaweik floating restaurant on Kandawgyi Lake. Overnight Yangon Day 3: visit the White Elephants at Min-Da-Ma hill, and Kyauk-Taw-Gyi Pagoda which houses the largest marble Buddha Image in Myanmar; the Botatuang Paya on the Yangon River and the Gems Museum. Late afternoon flight to Mandalay and transfer to hotel. Overnight Mandalay. Day 4: All day sightseeing in Mandalay including visits to the famous Mahamuni Pagoda, the World's Biggest Book and the numerous handicraft shops: see how traditional Myanmar handicrafts are made. And not forgetting the memorable sunset as seen from Mandalay Hill. Overnight Mandalay. Day 5: all day sightseeing Mandalay, Innwa (Ava), Amarapura and Mingun with Marionette show in the evening. Overnight Mandalay. Day 6: visit Pyin Oo Lwin - in the hills above Mandalay and home to Myanmar's Botanical Gardens. Also visit the famous waterfalls and caves. Late afternoon return to Mandalay and overnight Day 7: mid-morning board the luxurious Pandaw 1 for your cruise to Bagan and cruise all day. Overnight Pandaw Day 8: early morning village walk at Sameikkon ; explore Pakokku in the evening. Overnight Pandaw Day 9: arrive Bagan mid-morning and transfer to hotel All day tour of Bagan Pagodas ~ Bagan is often referred to as one of the Wonders of the World having over 2,000 Pagodas dating back to the eleventh century. Evening Cultural Show. Overnight Bagan. Day 10: all day Bagan relaxing and sightseeing including a visit to the impressive Bagan Museum. Visit the famous lacquerware village and see the craftspeople at work. Optional trip with Balloons Over Bagan ~ see the magnificent Pagodas from the air!! Overnight Bagan. Day 11: depart Bagan for the cool mountain air of Mount Popa, home of the Nats, and see the beautiful scenery en route. Upon arrival at Mount Popa, take in a round of golf or go sightseeing, hiking, horse riding or just relax in the refreshing mountain air and amongst the most beautiful flora and fauna! Or climb the 777 stairs to the Pagoda at the top of the volcanic "plug" in the nearby village. Overnight at Mount Popa resort. Day 12: early morning depart Mount Popa for Bagan airport for morning flight to Heho (Inle Lake) and transfer to hotel on the lake. Afternoon sightseeing on Inle Lake. See the very special ways of growing food on the floating gardens in the lake. The fishermen have an unique method of propelling their boats!! Overnight Inle Lake. Day 13: Visit Nam Pan Market; In Paw Khone Village the floating gardens; the famous Nga Phe Kyaung or "Jumping Cat" Monastery; Ywama Viilage to see the silversmiths, goldsmiths and weaving workshops and Phaung Daw U Kyaung, the holiest religious site in the Southern Shan State. Overnight Inle lake. Day 14: Transfer to Pindaya via Kalaw. In Pindaya see the over 8,000 Buddha Images in the caves situated in the hills above this quiet town. Overnight Pindaya. Day 15: depart Pindaya in morning and travel through the unspoilt countryside via the Than O Chow nature reserve to Kyaukse and on to Mandalay airport to catch the evening flight to Yangon. Overnight Yangon. Day 16: early morning travel to Kyaikhtiyo and see the famous Pagoda perched precariously on top of the mountain. Drive via Hraukkyant War Cemetry and Bago (Pegu) and overnight at Kyaikhtiyo Hotel. Day 17: morning depart Kyaikhtiyo direct to Yangon airport for international flights.
