Northern Myanmar 7D/6N Tour

Day 01:  Arrive Yangon airport in morning and transfer to Grand Plaza Parkroyal 5-Star Hotel. All day sightseeing Yangon including the Museum of Contemporary Arts, the Gems Museum, the National Museum and the famous Shwedagon Pagoda. In the evening Welcome Dinner with Cultural Show. Overnight Yangon

Day 02. Morning fly To Myitkyina. Upon arrival visit nearby villages, the Baptist church of Myitkyina, the Old Cemetery and former RAF/USAF airfield. Overnight at an hotel in Myitkyina.

Day 03. Morning drive to Tanei. The journey will take about 6 hours. Overnight at a Guest House in Tanei

Day 04. Morning sightseeing Tanei area and then drive through Hukawng Valley to Shinbwiyang. Visit a gold mine at Shinbwiyang and a WW2 airfield which was once the biggest supply base camp on the Ledo (Stillwell) Road. Return to Tanei and overnight at a Guest House

Day 05. Morning drive to Mogaung via Kamaing and explore some World War 2 sites.  Overnight at a Guest House in Mogaung.

Day 06. Morning visit Mogaung Bridge and nearby areas. Overnight at hotel in Myitkyina

Day 07. Morning drive 45km north from Myitkina to Myitson which is at the confluence of the Maikha and Malikha rivers which forms the start of the the Ayeryarwaddy River. Afternoon fly to Yangon and either overnight at Grandplaza Parkroyal 5-Star Hotel or international departures

Day 08. International departures (if overnight Yangon on Day 07)
